Good morning..just wanted to share some pics of Aces...he'll be 18 weeks tomorrow and is the most playful, lovable, and smartest pet we've ever had. Can't imagine our family without him. We will definitely be returning for another puppy later this year!!

Please see attached photo taken Dec 4th. Major allowed the wearing of that hat through two stores. What a pleaser!
I cant think of a day that goes by that I don't get a complement on what a great looking dog he is. Since Major is my service dog, he goes everywhere with me and folks will ask where I got him. I have given your information out to many. People are surprised when I tell them his age and the trainer at PetSmart even commented on how amazing his disposition is and how calm he is for a young dog (turned 9 months a couple days ago). I do tell folks that a Doberman is not a dog to leave at home alone without mental stimulation or exercise. They crave their owner's attention and make amazing service dogs because they are so smart, eager to work for you, and want nothing more than to be with you 24/7. Hopefully the veterans I have spoken to will seek you out. I can't think of a better breed for a service dog. Major exudes pure love and devotion! I hope you continue to grow your business as I will be a lifelong customer and friend.
God bless you, your family, and have a fabulous season celebrating Christ and his many blessings!

They're still puppies to some extent, but they are well on their way to growing into well behaved friends to all our family members. We get compliments every single day when we take them on a neighborhood walk on how beautiful they are, because Dobermans are gorgeous.

We cant thank Ostertag Kennel enough. Today our youngest son turns 2! He has grown into the most handsome doberman i’e ever seen, although i am biased. He is healthy in every way and just has the sweetest soul. He is roughly 100 pounds and loves to run with mom and wrestle with his big brother. I don’t think I’d ever use another breeder. Thank you again for such an amazing dog. Our lives would not be complete with Woodrow Wilson!

Heaven- from our March 2020 litter
Hi Jessica,
I can't believe it has been a year since we picked up Charlie last May (Mariska/Valdik litter, yellow collar). She has turned into a great dog. Wanted to show you some pics of her over the last few months. She LOVES to swim, her favorite person is my 4 year old, she loves chasing balls (but doesn't want to bring it back),and she will do anything for cheese. She has been an awesome addition to the family, thank you!!

Jessica,
I want to thank you again for what you all do in breeding such amazing animals! You all really do make healthy, happy family dogs a priority and it shows.
Asuna is now nine months old and weighs a whopping 80 pounds. For fun, I have a photo in the file of her at 4 weeks when we picked her out and a photo from just a week ago. There's just a slight difference. When we look at photos of her parents we see both of them in her, though so far by the way she is growing we believe she will surpass her mother in size and have her fathers build!
Asuna is extremely smart and a TOTAL velcro Doberman. She wants to be wherever we are and doesn't like to be excluded from the fun things we are doing around the yard and house. It often means we are tripping over her in the kitchen and often when she tries to get out of the way somehow manages to get in our way even more.
She also believes she is a lap dog and has no idea how large she is. Her favorite thing is to cuddle with whoever is on the couch. But she's also energetic and athletic, a true testament to her breed. Training is going really well and at only nine months old I know she will turn into a fantastic adult dog as she picks up fast on what we are trying to teach her (sometimes she's a little too smart as she tries to guess what I'm going to ask her to do before I give her a command). That's not to say we don't have our troubles, as she is still very much a puppy and we catch her digging and chasing our cat when she knows she's not allowed but, overall she is a well-tempered and gentle Doberman and we absolutely love her!
Thank you again for providing such amazing creatures, I'm still trying to convince my husband for a second one as I think a Red Dobe would be a great addition and a good playmate for Asuna. But, I think I'll have to wait for quite some time. Hope you and your pack are all well.

I can’t tell you how much we love our Brody. Besides being friendly and devoted to us, he’s smart as a whip and very active. I’m glad we’re retired and have time to channel that energy. We have about 4 1/2 fenced acres where he can run, dig, and play with our hound/St. Bernard cross. He’s been to puppy preschool (so smart!) and I take him to weekly agility classes (the instructor is mindful of his age), which he really loves. We decided to put off neutering him until he’s 18 months so his growth plates can close. He’s tall and lean—84 lbs—very handsome and a beautiful mover. We just love his personality.
I’m attaching some photographs we took when he was five months old (I’m bad about taking pictures) This really captures his expression as he tries to understand what we’re saying. He’s a real head turner wherever we go. I’m so glad we found your kennel!

As you know they (Onyx and Dax) are 8 months old. Dax is 85 pounds and Onyx is about 65 pounds. They are doing well. They were neutered and spayed about 2 months ago. Both of them are wonderful, they're smart and they are a real joy to have. Dax is a little bit protective over his mommy and his house.Onyx is turned out to be a real sweet sweet little girl. Dax is a real velcro Doberman and is always trying to sit on my lap. He's definitely a mommy's boy. Nina |

Hi! I just wanted to send you some overly due pictures of our almost 6 month old puppy! He loves life. Magnus loves water and anything that can be thrown and fetched like balls or a frisbee. He picks favorite toys and babies them for awhile and then tears them up after a few weeks. He apparently loves Christmas though, because he has had a santa toy since we brought him home and he has yet to pull that one apart and sleeps with it every night. He is absolutely gorgeous and handsome. He is almost 6 months and he is now 65 pounds. He is super friendly but at the same time protective. He will bark while in the house and people and things outside the house, but when he realizes that we are ok and know the people he goes up wiggling and gives them kisses. I cannot speak enough about letting your kids get in the pen with the puppies because he still absolutely gets so excited and happy when he sees kids. He got spoiled a little bit as a puppy (not rotten yet though!) and rode in my parents small dog car seat. You will see a picture attached with him almost too big to ride in it, but he still wanted to sit in it. I am so glad we received Magnus from y'all. He is definitely making our lives more fun and full of love! Hope you all enjoy these pictures and are having a great summer! If we ever decide to get another doberman we definitely know where we are immediately coming!
Thank you so much!
-Katelyn, Josey, and Magnus
PS. His sister is doing great with our parents!

Hello....just a few pics of Aka, so she almost 2yrs now, weight is just under 70lbs. Everything is great and no problems with her...plenty of exercise and she loves to run full speed across the field several times daily then nap on the couch. The pic with the water is at the northern part of the Potomac River...she went camping with us for a week there. Very intelligent dog...couldn't be happier. Thanks again, Jeremy
